Laurie Klein

Laurie Klein is the author of House of 49 Doors: Entries in a Life (Poeima/Cascade, 2024). Her other book titles include Where the Sky Opens (Cascade) and Bodies of Water, Bodies of Flesh. A grateful recipient of the Thomas Merton Prize, she is also a Pushcart Prize nominee for prose as well as poetry. In the mid-70s Klein wrote the beloved praise chorus "I Love You, Lord," still being recorded as well as sung internationally. An Audie award-winning narrator for audio books and spoken word artist for local public radio and Tweetspeak Poetry, she writes for Godspace and blogs monthly on her personal website.
