Jon Bero

Born in Honolulu, Hawai'i, Jon Bero is a storyteller currently enrolled in the MFA Visual Narrative program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Working across a variety of mediums, he spends the majority of his time writing, animating and filming. He received two BFAs from the Kansas City Art Institute in Art History and Illustration, as well as an Asian Studies Certificate, in 2014. Much of his work is autobiographical, deeply inspired by travel, and these experiences continue to be the main source of inspiration for his stories.
