L.C. Bennett Stern

An insatiable interest in her forebears led L.C.Bennett Stern to the discovery of a locally notorious ancestor—a grandfather never known to the author—the subject of her first book, (Award winning Finalist in the Non-fiction/True Crime category of the International Book Awards) Bosses and Blackjacks: A Tale of the Bloody Fifth in Philadelphia.

Her second book: Mae's Revenge, was the first historical novella in The Mari Mort Theater Trilogy, released in 2017. Volume 2 is Standing Ovation, released in 2019. She is currently working on Volume 3, Encore! Encore! This series follows the fictional travels and adventures of Annie Mae Steinberg, one of the author's great-aunts.

Linda happily shares life in southern New Jersey with her husband, Michael R. Stern, a fellow author.
