George Dowdell

Hi

I am George Dowdell from the United Kingdom. I am passionate about how compassion and justice eliminates extreme poverty throughout the world. For 25 years I had a successful career in the computer industry. In 1988 I left this to set up a UK charity called Kingscare (now known as Karuna Action). This charity works with our overseas partners to reduce the misery inflicted by poverty and exploitation.

I have now passed control to younger people but my 'race is not yet run'. I write a blog called compassion and justice and so far have compiled one book from articles in the blog.
