I am a University Teacher and Programme Director for the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education within the Academic Unit of Medical Education at the University of Sheffield. I am co-author of two highly regarded texts for Critical Publishing, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have presented at national and international conferences on personal tutoring. I have experience of a wide range of educational sectors and contexts, and have taught on and led postgraduate education programmes across a range of sectors. Previously, I was cross-institutional quality lead for personal tutoring and student experience, and have held a broad range of curriculum leadership, quality, teaching enhancement and staff development positions. I believe in and advocate a holistic approach to students and their education which can transform lives.
