Sam E. Litvin

Born in Ukraine, Sam Litvin emigrated to United States and grew up in San Diego, CA.

He travelled for one year to six continents, stopping in various Jewish communities, seeing the effects of Jewish culture on Mosques and Churches as well as signs in food and art and influences of the places on the Jewish religion and culture. His trip was self funded and was never planned. He stayed with local non-Jewish hosts, travelled by plane, train, boat and sometimes by thumb.
