Geoff Beech

Geoff Beech, PhD, taught as a Primary School teacher in schools in Australia for twenty years before becoming a missionary educator in Bolivia for sixteen years. During that time Geoff taught for two years in Carachipampa Christian School and then was principal of CCS for three years. During the rest of his time in Bolivia, Geoff worked with Bolivian Christian schools and mission schools in Bolivia, some other South American countries, and as an international consultant in mission education.

Returning to Australia, for nine years Geoff worked in the Masters of Education program of the National Institute for Christian Education in Sydney, Australia, and for some years as the Institute's Dean. Geoff, a remarried widower, has three adult children and now lives in Sydney, Australia, with his wife, Dr Elizabeth Beech. He is semi-retired, working as an associate with TeachBeyond, doing some part time academic work, writing, helping to develop Christian teacher education courses, and consulting in Christian education in Australia and internationally. Current foci of his work include explorations of a biblical perspective on the teaching-learning process, and what it means to do research within different cultures.
