Taisuke Soda had a successful career as an acquisitions editor with major publishers working with authors to generate ideas and bring their engineering books to market. In 2015, he began the pursuit of his own creative and artistic talents through the imagination of children's stories and illustration. Taisuke's belief that positive messages in early childhood are essential for life lessons is strongly reflected in his books.

１９６０年岡山県玉野市生まれ。福岡の西南学院大学経済学部経済学科卒業後、山九株式会社に入社、東京支社にて通関士として通関業務にたずさわる。１９８９年に渡米、ニュージャージー州のFairleigh Dickinson 大学修士課程を経、某電子機器貿易会社のアメリカ支社に採用される。２００１年に工学系の出版社に採用された後、マグローヒル、ジョンワイリーといった有名出版社にて工学系出版の編集長として３００以上の教科書、学術書の出版にたずさわる。　２０１６年に自社、Taizan Picture Books, LLCを立ち上げ、子供の本の出版を手掛けている。
