Sarah Beth Hunt

Sarah Beth Hunt grew up in the tropics of south Florida where she spent her childhood climbing her Florida Holly tree, playing hide-and-seek in banyan trees, picking bouquets of hibiscus and gardenias, and collecting tadpoles from the lake.

The winding, unpredictable path of life has brought her to the UK where she now lives with her Scottish husband and two young boys, teaches yoga and spends time on the tropical island of her imagination.

Many years ago, Sarah discovered the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and it was like finding an old friend. It was a book that talked about the same big life questions she had in own mind, and from that point onwards, she knew she wanted to write stories that also spoke to these bigger spiritual and philosophical life questions. Favourite books followed — The Celestine Prophecy, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Siddhartha and Eat, Pray, Love. There were other favourites too, ones about the tenderness and complexity of love — The Time Traveler's Wife, The Notebook, Outlander...

Sarah's stories follow characters on their own quest for wisdom within the messy reality of life and love.
