Books include: The Future: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press, 2017), now translated into seven languages; Postformal Education: A Philosophy for Complex Futures (Springer, 2016); and The Secret to Growing Brilliant Children: Volume 1 Steiner Education for the 21st Century (March 2020).

During my adult life I have woven in and out of professional and academic careers on the one hand e.g. psychologist, educator, academic futurist. On the other hand, I’ve followed more artistic leanings e.g. the founding of a highly innovative, creative private school in rural NSW inspired by Rudolf Steiner.

I have become increasingly conscious that my academic, pedagogical and futures organisational leadership work has been starving the creative, artistic part of me, especially during my last 30 years.

As I embrace an ecology of interior design styles I love (Biophilic, Japandi, Wabi Sabi & Eco-Design), I find I am spiralling back to the human-centred, nature-honouring, regenerative, and artistic values of my earlier years.
