Mike Knetzger

I'm a 23-year law enforcement veteran and 16-year college criminal justice instructor from Green Bay, WI (Titletown, USA). I have written books on investigating computer crime, historical true crime (cold cases), criminal law, and careers in criminal justice. I'm also a subject matter expert for Pearson Education and have testified as an expert witness. On June 3, 2008, our 18-year-old daughter, Ashley, was killed by a drunk driver. I was in my squad on patrol in Titletown on the night of her death and it nearly ended my career. Getting back in the squad car and doing what I can to make a difference wasn't easy, but in her memory I do what I can to bring awareness to the significant drunk driving problem that plagues Wisconsin and the rest of the country. In memory of Ashley, I share the motivational and inspirational "Ashley's Story" to high school and college students, community groups, and law enforcement officers. Visit www.ashleystory.org to learn more and contact me about speaking engagements. The inspirational book, "Ashley's Story" will be released in early 2016.
