Lauren Parmelee Murphy

Dr. Lauren Parmelee Murphy is an encourager. Her greatest joy is in helping others discover ways to actualize the person they were born to be. A National Board Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor, her behavioral neuroscience research focuses on the behaviors that enable people to thrive. She authored The BrainZipper™ Advantage to bring helpful information to the public. Dr. Murphy enjoys gardening or taking long walks by the seashore, but even more so, she loves spending time with her far-flung children and grandchildren. She founded and directs Atelier 7, Inc., a nonprofit expressive arts organization, serving special-needs populations. Her BrainZipper™ continuing education seminars target habits and aptitudes to develop creative thinking, wellness, and leadership skills. Dr. Murphy lives in New Jersey with her husband and rescue pets.
