Hi there! My name is Anna Chittenden and I’m the author, photographer and explorer behind the Lost Guides travel guidebooks. Originally from the UK, in 2014 I packed my bags and said goodbye to London to start a new life in Asia. I live in Singapore, which is a great base from which to explore the Southeast Asia region. Coming from an outsider’s perspective, I’m always on the lookout for what is unique to each specific region, be that food, art, culture, nature or everyday local life.

Lost Guides

Founded by Anna Chittenden, Lost Guides is an independent travel guide brand created for today’s traveller – the stylish nomad with an interest in experience rather than expense and an eye for quality, design and authenticity. The books come with tried and tested travel recommendations - a highly curated selection of only the best places - illustrated with original photography and bespoke hand-drawn illustrated maps.

Destinations

Launched in Nov 2015, Lost Guides – Bali was the first book in the series followed by Lost Guides – Singapore in March 2017. The latest book Lost Guides – Bali & Islands (2nd edition) was released in March 2018. Anna is currently researching for her new book, Lost Guides – Tokyo, which will be launch in 2019.
