Anthony Dawson

I'm told I'm a natural 'story-teller' and I've been scribbling down notes for several years after my family continually told me to 'write it down'.

I've completed and self published my first book bringing together stories and happenings from my days serving as a British National Serviceman in Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. I was just a boy of 18 in the mid-fifties and now I'm nearing 80, but I remember it all so clearly. I'm fortunate that my memory has served me well.

I'm currently compiling stories from my early years. Times were hard in Britain before and just after the Second World War - and tales from in and around my village tell of hardship but happy family life.

I live in Northamptonshire UK with my American born wife Barbara and, as we have grown up families both sides of the Atlantic, we enjoy travelling.
