Pablo Vaz

Pablo Javier Vaz (Maldonado, Uruguay; September 6, 1981) studied Physics at UdelaR and Physics teaching at the Centro Regional de Profesores del Este, CeRP, in Maldonado, graduating in 2005. Since then, he has worked as a teacher in secondary education, adult education, and teacher training.

He has conducted in-person courses at national and international meetings, focusing on physics and education, the use of virtual learning environments, and the creation of audiovisual material for teaching this discipline. He has established the YouTube channel "Fisicamaldonado," where he shares educational content.

In 2015, he published his first book, "The Fascinating World of Physics." Apart from writing about Physics, he also enjoys crafting fiction stories. In 2023, he won the first prize in the national literature competition Serafín J. García (Uruguay) in the "Short Stories" category.
