Dr. Rick Greene D.Th currently serves as the president of The New Jersey Institute of Theology Online Seminary (NJITOS.org) the former assistant pastor of Charity Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, and headed their school of ministry. He is a former Chaplain of the Newark Police Department, and St. Michael's & UMDNJ Hospitals. He serves also as the media ministry leader for Dominion Fellowship Ministries and PR Committee for ReMA. He is a member of the board of directors of the Prevailing Word Ministries where he also teaches the bible at Seton Hall University.
Dr. Rick founded The Newark Minister's Conference and Metro Christian Ministries. And is also the founder and CEO of Metro Christian Media where he works with ministries, businesses and individual clients to capture great moments and spread their message through TV & Video program creation, TV commercial Production, Event & Wedding Photography / Videography, internet marketing and Graphic & Web Design.
He has Produced and Directed several cable TV shows and hosted for fourteen seasons the cable TV show, "The Church at Newark" which is broadcasted to over 10 million viewers each year. He has also hosted and produced several radio shows such as "Politically Correct", "Sunday Talk", and "Relationships with Pastor Rick" and has produced features on "Newark Newsmakers", for the North Jersey Radio Series.
Pastor Rick is the publisher of Transformation Newark Magazine which has over 5 million page views; the magazine seeks to inform and inspire its readers through quick tips and feature articles that show how to quickly bring about a change to your life. Long term projects include establishing MCTV Newark as the first Cable TV News Network in the city of Newark along with Youth Production, a media training program creating young media entrepreneurs. Pastor Rick currently holds a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Eastern Theological Seminary, of Lynchburg, Va. at their Newark NJ extension and holds and masters and doctorate degree from Oval Bible in Lake Charles, LA.
