Jacqueline Francis

Jacqueline Francis graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Environmental Biology. She worked for the Federal government for 33 years as a biologist, environmental engineer, and instructor. Throughout those working years, she dreamed of writing a series of children’s books with Flora N. Fauna as her main character. Now after retiring and after successfully battling breast cancer, she is fulfilling that dream. “A Gaggle of Geese” is the first in her series of Flora N. Fauna discovery books. When she is not writing, she enjoys tennis, hiking, swimming, cycling, quilting, watercolor painting, and photography.
