Throughout life, John Otis Biggs has lived in eleven or so different states, all east of the Mississippi River. Over the years, John has been a landscaper, a farm hand, a nuclear plant technician, a submariner, a technical instructor, a rocket systems supervisor, a steel plant technician, a maintenance coordinator, an operations manager, and a writer. He was educated by the United States Navy, Hillsborough Community College, and the University of South Florida.
John, his wife Eleonora, and three children, have a fortunate life near Columbus, Ohio. In the warm summer months, they like to explore bike trails and bookstores. Often a game of soccer brings out the family competitive spirit. In the winter, they occasionally escape to Eleonora’s home country of Argentina for family, facturas, and a few weeks of sunshine.
In his spare time, John enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and beach volleyball; his days of rugby and American football are behind him. When not playing sports, he can be found coaching youth teams or following University of South Florida sports. On a rainy day, John passes the time with books, movies, music, and board games.
