Cari Rincker is the principal attorney at Rincker Law, PLLC, a national law practice focusing on “Food, Farm & Family.” She is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois and Washington, D.C. She is also a trained mediator and prolific writer and speaker. Cari was named as a Rising Star for Metro New York in 2015 by “Super Lawyers” and is an award-winning blogger.
Cari is involved in several professional organizations including the Association for the Bar of the City of New York’s Matrimonial Law Committee. she is currently the Chair of the American Bar Association, General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division's Agriculture Law Committee and won the 2014 Excellence in Agriculture Law Award by the American Agriculture Law Association. She was also an adjunct professor at New York University, College of Steinhardt (2013-2014), where she taught an undergraduate food law class.
Cari is a distinguished alumni from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois and Texas A & M University. Before attending law school at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, Cari obtained a Master of Science from the University of Illinois.
Cari grew up on a beef cattle farm in Central Illinois, where she showed Simmental cattle through 4-H and FFA. Cari remains active in her family's farming operation. Cari enjoys running, biking, swimming, yoga, basketball and volleyball. Cari also loves attending sports events and traveling internationally. Community service remains an important part of her life.
