Stephen R. Burns writes character-driven stories set in broken worlds, where survival is never just physical. His latest novel is Fever Dreams, inspired by the world of women's basketball. He is also the author of The Last Angel and City of Slaves, part of the Desolate Kingdom series. After years of writing in private, he is now bringing his work to readers while continuing to build new stories. He lives in Toronto.
