Jim Maness

Jim Maness is the Senior Pastor of Life Steam located near Grand Rapids in West Michigan. The church has experienced dynamic growth under his leadership. He is sought to speak at church conferences and has served as an adjunct professor at Wesley Seminary.

He holds a bachelors degree in Christian Ministry from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, a Masters in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Church Leadership from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN.

His wife, Terri is a Kindergarten teacher and her occupational hazards have regaled the family with entertaining stories through the years. Jim and Terri have four children, Cindy, Micah, Erin and Wesley, whom they see as witty and wonderful.

“Gift God” is Jim’s first authored work to be published in book format. His second book “Elements of The Spirit” will be available in 2016. He has served as a pastor for sixteen years in the LaCrosse, WI area before serving as a pastor for the past eight years in Michigan.

Jim is a voice for the church renewal movement and believes deeply that God’s Church is meant to prevail.
