Rosary Beck

Rosary Beck began her teaching career working in a combination fifth-sixth grade class at the same Integrated Day program in New Orleans where Goette taught.

She has known Jane Goette since 1973 and worked with her during the 1990’s in Virginia. “At the time I began my job as a Montgomery County resource teacher, I'd had little experience at the primary level. Jane's lessons and activities gave me confidence and success. These materials were fresh, original, easy to follow, and the children loved them; so did their classroom teachers who continued to use them in subsequent years.”

Rosary Beck has 17 years of teaching experience, within public schools as well as private, and also served as a curriculum coordinator in Montgomery County, Virginia. Beck has led many teacher workshops ranging from language arts to technology, math to organic gardening. She currently lives in Baton Rouge, LA with her husband, is self-employed, has tutored local students, and has coordinated the nonprofit Children’s Coalition of Greater Baton Rouge.

Beck collaborated with Goette on research, writing, compiling, organizing, editing, formatting, and publishing Timeless Teaching: Writing to Learn Everything, Grades K-3.
