James Cave

James Cave is an Irish humor writer, best known for German Men Sit Down to Pee & Other Insights into German Culture, a comic guide to German life co-written with Niklas Frank. His humor comes from a lifetime of being a foreigner—he's lived in Germany, France, Spain, the UK, and Portugal, and has made a career of explaining one country to the people baffled by it.

He also writes practical nonfiction, including the Amazon bestseller Moving to Portugal Made Simple, and founded Portugalist, the leading online guide to moving to Portugal, visited by millions of people every year. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, HuffPost, the Daily Mail, and The Spectator.
