James D. Crofts III

I grew up in a small orchard. I built a tree house in every tree we had and made forts in the weeds and played through long summers with my brother and dog. I was constantly daydreaming and got caught by my teachers regularly. I got bit by the writing bug in grade school. I won a few contests and then won first placement in a regional school publication.

I love writing. I can't live without writing. I have dozens of stories going on at the same time and so when I run out of muse for one story, I switch to the next one. I am known to stay up late writing or trying to fix my run on sentences. I keep a pencil and pad next to my bed and a voice recorder in my bag. I'm always ready for when inspiration strikes.

My passion is creativity that is grounded in logic and reason, mixed with spiritual matters. If I'm not writing, I'm studying.
