Robert Cole

Robert Cole is an Australian author based in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the Australian National University and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Sydney. Following a postdoctoral fellowship, he worked across a number of biotechnology companies and has contributed to numerous scientific publications.

Alongside his scientific career, Robert has maintained a lifelong passion for speculative fiction, with a particular interest in stories that explore social and political themes. He is the author of the Savage Dawn series—Nuclear Midnight (which reached number one on Amazon UK), Rise of Alpha, and One World. He has also written the political thriller The Ego Cluster, recipient of a B.R.A.G. Medallion.

In addition, Robert has ventured into children’s and young adult fiction with The Mytar trilogy, inspired in part by raising his three children.
