As a military brat, I spent my early years traveling the globe. We then settled in Florida, where we were just in time for the launch of the Space Program, a time of excitement and innovation. After graduating with my Masters Degree in Speech Communication Education from USF, I taught in a variety of schools and universities. Then the traveling bug bit, and I moved across the continent to Southern California, and moved from education into Corporate America, teaching computers and communication/management skills in an international aerospace corporation. (Obviously aircraft/spacecraft is one of my life themes.) The last move came in 1992, when my husband and son and I moved to Northern California. I settled very happily back into education, and have been teaching communication skills (my other life theme) at a local college ever since.
