Catherine Mellors

Catherine Mellors is a qualified social worker who enjoys writing things that make people laugh.

Catherine has a Graduate Certificate in Writing from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, and has written humorous pieces for GLBTQIA+ community press in the ACT and in the Northern Territory. Catherine is the former editor of Quirk Magazine in Canberra and has also written for Queer Screen in Sydney. "The Barnabies are Coming!" was her first adult fiction book and "Bernard the Cheeky Cockroach!” was Catherine's first children's book (both are available from most on line book retailers).

Catherine is very happy to have won a RunnerUp Prize in the 2021 Outstanding LGBTQI Short Story Competition!
