Carol Caldwell

I am a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in English and a minor in art. I am a member of the Northwest Christian Writers Association, Oregon Christian Writers' Association. I have attended conferences with the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, NCWA conference, and OCW Conference. Tari Books, an imprint of PDMI Publishers, published my children’s early reader Princess to the Rescue, First Edition. Princess to the Rescue, Second Edition is available from IngramSpark. My blog is at http://authorcaldwell.blogslpot.com/ and my Facebook page is at www.facebook.com/carol-caldwell.

The rest of the story is that I have always wanted to be a writer. It just took longer to get there than I planned. Writing stories for my grandchildren became my motivation. Claire is the first granddaughter that inspired me when at age five she wouldn't smile at me. The story began as a princess with a special smile, but changed into a princess who finds someone to help, thus rescue. I've completed two more Princess Claire stories, and one for her brother Tanner. Stories for the other three are in my head, but I took a detour to write a middle grade trilogy, and a women's inspirational story.
