Dennis Lee Bates Jr.

Born in 1975, Dennis Bates Jr is an only child with a love and dedication to the developmental growth of children. Growing up in a home-based childcare setting, he worked with children of all ages and worked in the public school system. As a single father of a son with developmental delays (autism spectrum disorders, "ASD", he has become accustomed to the issues and struggles that children on the spectrum can face. Through the imagination and love for mysteries of his son Cody, Dennis penned his very first short novel/chapter book aimed at the elementary ages of 3rd to 5th grade. After completing book one, he brought forth two more parts to the short series titled "Cody's Treasure Cove". Now he continues to write, bringing forth Sci-Fi works, with a twist of Faith-Based content.
