Glenna Collett

Glenna Collett teamed up with coauthor Fiona Raven to write Book Design Made Simple, a comprehensive guide to designing and typesetting a book, to be used by nondesigners and designers alike. Book Design Made Simple has won gold medals in various regional and national book contests.

Glenna has been a book designer in the Boston area for over forty years. She created her first book by hand, using metal type, a letterpress, silkscreen illustrations, and a sewn binding. Since then, she has designed more than 100 textbooks for large publishers and dozens of self-published books for individual authors. When not designing books, she can often be found reading them or walking in the woods with a camera.
