Several years ago, my husband and I quit our jobs and made plans to start an outreach ministry to help others through my book, Stand Up! Step Toward A New Direction Using Principles. We were going to live half of the year in America and half of the year In Africa. We sold our condo, gave away everything we had and my husband left for Africa so that he could set up our new home and our new business that would support the Stand Up! ministry. Our daughter and I remained in the United States with family with plans to join him before the first snowfall. However, life had different plans for us and my husband was in a horrible car accident. Thank goodness he survived but the book, the ministry, our new home, our new business, everything was sidelined. Only by the grace of God did we make it through that trying time. The principles in the Stand Up! book that I had planned on teaching to others I had to apply again, in my own life as we had to start over. It was more than a year before my husband was able to travel and join us once again in the States.

Fast forward five years and the book, once again, was heavy on my heart and I knew it was time to do what I had set out to do. I prayed to God to give me a sign if it was indeed time to pick up where I had left off. I have a Facebook page dedicated to Stand Up! and the very next day a post that I had posted began receiving an unusual amount of attention. Whereas, I would usually get a few 1,000 likes on a post this post received over 30,000 likes. And, the next day I received a phone call from a gentleman from the publishing branch of TBN. He said that they wanted to look at relaunching my book. But what really hit me was at the end of the conversation he said, “Thanks for reaching out to us.” Only, the truth is, I never reached out to anyone about republishing my book. But here it is, and not only is the Stand Up! book relaunching, but there is also a Stand Up! workbook for life groups and a 90-Day Action Planner where you can track your daily goals and events that are important to you. And does it end there? No! I am also launching a half-hour television show, “Stand Up! For Generations To Come.” That will be aired beginning in late June on Preach The Word Worldwide Television Network!

What an awesome God! Everything happens in his time to his glory. When it is meant to be it is meant to be. I pray that the Stand Up! ministry will speak to you whether it be through the book or in a life group or by tracking your daily journey or by watching the program. Now is the time to Stand Up! For Yourself and Step Toward A New Direction Using Principles.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end (fulfillment); it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. (Habakkuk 2:3 AMPC)
