Debra Jones Davis

I am Debra Jones Davis, and ever since I was young, I have loved to read stories. I also love to tell stories, and given that, it was not hard for me to become an author of children’s books.

I travel frequently around the globe. You can find me in Thailand during the winter, Europe during the summer, and aboard my bus conversion throughout the rest of the year. I am a mother of three daughters and a grandmother of five.

I began writing because of a conversation I had with my oldest granddaughter about the changes happening in her body. I went looking for a book to buy her and could not find what I was after. As one of my favorite authors (Toni Morrison) says, “If you can’t find it, write it.” So, I did.
