Dirk de Klein

I was born in a small mining town called Geleen in the most southern province of the Netherlands, Limburg, in 1968.

In 1997 I emigrated to Limerick in Ireland together with my wife who is Irish. I have 3 children.

At the end of 2014 I nearly turned blind, in fact I was technically blind for several months. During these months I came up with the idea for "Not just a Guide-Dog" since I wasn't sure of I was ever going to see my family or friends again.

My passion is music, I have quite a varied taste in music however Rock music and mainly Heavy Metal is my favorite.

I am also a bit of a movie buff.

One of my favorite authors is Greg Iles,but I also love reading sci-fi and fantasy stories.
