Hi! My name is BT Dowl and I’m an author who writes fantasy fiction.

I had always been a fan of the genre, but my career in writing began as a project to stave off boredom as a third shift security guard. This passion grew as I spent the following decade woking dead end jobs and obtained a college degree in criminal justice. Still I continued to write,and self published my first novel, Awakening, in 2016.

Fantasy interests me because of how much fun it is to put my own unique spin on its tropes while connecting it to problems similar to what we face here in the real world.
