Steve Warner

Rogers Steven (Steve) Warner is a communicator, a lead pastor, an educator, a storyteller and a wordsmith. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of the Brockton Assembly of God in Brockton, Massachusetts. The church is noted for its cultural diversity, with more than 30 nationalities represented within the congregation.

Steve has ministered in over 25 countries and has been the senior pastor of four churches: Maranatha Chapel in Evergreen Park, IL: planted 1975 and pastored for 23 years; Oakbrook Community Church, Oakbrook, IL; Interim Lead Pastor of The Stone Church, Palos Heights, IL. He also served for 28 years as a board member of Illinois Teen Challenge and on numerous other boards throughout the years.

He holds an MA degree in Communications from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL. He previously held the position of Vice President of Marketing with Christian Communications of Chicagoland, which purchased and operated Channel 38 in Chicago (known today as Total Living Network).

Steve has been both married and a credentialed minister for over 46 years. He and his wife, Vickie have four children (Tamara, Sean, Tiffany, and Courtney), and six grandchildren (Theo, Warner, Maddie, Annie, Fletcher, and Riley).

His avocations include collecting books, fountain pens, signatures, and rare documents. Steve enjoys road trips in his convertible, biking, kayaking, and hiking. In the process of his travels, he has visited all 50 states and almost as many countries, enjoying numerous adventures along the way.

His main life goal continues to be to glorify the Lord Jesus by both knowing Him personally and making Him known to others.
