Lora Starling

Born in Australia Lora Starling is a graphic designer with over thirty years experience in London and Melbourne. She intuitively knew that the logos she designed for major brands had more power than the design itself. Whether we like the design, or not, whether it wins awards or the client just likes the colour, the final result has the potential to create change – it can reach to us beyond our five senses at a more unconscious level.

She learned more about these deeper resources through her interest in complementary medicine, shamanism and quantum physics thinking. She observed how two worlds, the formed and the unformed, could unite with the logo comfortably straddling the middle and opening a gateway to each. This is the place where profound change can birth.

Every logo delivers an intention, usually to make money, and she wonders if this is why our world is in a current state of imbalance. A logo can deliver an intention for anything we want. The symbols, colour and words, that make up the design, have been used by our ancestors for thousands of years to create the change they want to see. She believes it is in our interest to become more conscious of what symbolism we create, deliver, invite into our lives and place on our body.

Lora teaches in the UK and Australia and has private clients whom she coaches in the art of honing and expressing their intentions in a logo so they can benefit from this process in the same way as major brands.

She believes our only limitation is in our imagination.
