Delia Dumitrescu

Delia Dumitrescu, Lead Innovation Architect at TrendWatching is a published trend and innovation expert.

Born in Romania, she has lived in Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria. Delia is responsible for developing and delivering TrendWatching's Apply Workshops, where she helps participants become innovation ready, and turn trend insights into profitable new business concepts. She has delivered presentations and led workshops in over ten countries across Europe and the Middle East.

Delia graduated in Communications & PR from the National School of Political & Administrative Studies in Bucharest, and studied Coolhunting at Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona where she currently guest lectures. She started her career in PR at Lowe Public Relations, before moving into trend research and innovation consultancy at TrendONE and PCH Innovations in Berlin.

Delia is the author of Road Trip to Innovation - How I came to understand Future Thinking (2012), a book about understanding ways of approaching and building innovation and one of the co-authors of the book 'Trend-Driven Innovation' published by Wiley in Q4 2015.

She has been quoted as a trend expert in publications including Forbes Romania, where she was featured in the Top 30 Under 30 list in 2014.
