Robert Zamenhof

Robert Zamenhof is a physicist, a graduate of MIT in nuclear engineering, and has spent his career as a physicist working in medical environments, mainly doing research, teaching, and supervising students and mentoring young physicians in radiology and nuclear medicine. He is a professor emeritus of Harvard Medical School, Tufts School of Medicine, Indiana University, and has been a visiting professor at the University of Buenos Aires, University of Wollongong, and Indiana University, and a research associate at MIT. He lives in South Woodstock, Vermont (where no one hurries or honks at you) with his wife Ruth, who is an M.D., a Scottish Deerhound named “Fledermaus”, a thoroughbred mare named “Pretty Mademoiselle”, and a Quarterhorse named “Allegro”. In addition to 150 published academic papers, books, and book chapters, Robert has published two children’s books in the series “The Adventures of Armadillo Baby and Annabelli", and a science book for the scientific layperson named “Seventeen Fun Science Articles”. The Zamenhof's have one married son who is an attorney in New York, and have two grandchildren.
