Gary Power

Gary was born in Ireland in 1971. He is qualified in such varying disciplines as Stone-masonry, business and theology. He has traveled and written in Texas and Louisiana and lived and worked in New York, and Los Angeles where he studied screenplay writing. An early draft of Fastest Draw came fifth in the American Gems novel contest in 2013. After writing for only a few year the screenplay on which Fastest Draw it was based was recommended for the shortlist of the Dublin International Film Festival in 2008. He is the son of historical novelist and short story writer Laurence Power. He is currently writing Fastest Draw with a view to turning it into a mini series.
