Gary Surdam

Gary Surdam is an educator, entrepreneur, businessman and visionary whose unique career experience has made him one of America's top leaders in international educational consulting. Surdam is currently a Professor of Education at Hope International University and a visiting Professor at Toyo University in Tokyo, Japan. At the universities, he is known for his work with Global Education and STEAM research/ development. In the past few years, Surdam has shared his proven strategies with teachers, students, and school leaders. His American Teacher Training is in high demand.

Surdam appeared on the KTLA Channel 5, (Los Angeles) television show “Making It.” The show, which profiles up-and-coming minority businesspeople, praised Surdam’s humanistic approach to business, citing his “Heart” for education as a significant part of Bright Start International Education. Surdam developed a vision of empowering parents, teachers, and school administrators to help children succeed in school and in life. He calls his vision “The Bright Start Way”.
