Julie Stephens taught high school English in Central and North Florida. She has a B.A. in English and a M.A. in literature. After 23 years of teaching, Julie retired in order to pursue her call to ministry. In 2004, she received her license to preach by the North Florida United Methodist Denomination and was appointed as pastor to the Eastpoint United Methodist Church and a year later to the Carrabelle United Methodist Church. She retired in 2010.
Julie is now ordained by Joan Hunter Ministries. In her autobiographical book, Divine Adventures, she writes about finding her purpose by overcoming the many adversities in her life. As a guest speaker, she brings a message of love, hope, healing and restoration.
When the Lord opens the door, Julie also loves to go on mission trips. She has worked with teams in Peru, Mexico and Cuba. She truly has a heart for the nations.
