Mary E Buras-Conway

I was born in New Orleans, La. and raised in Slidell, La. I married and moved to Florida over thirty years ago. We live right outside Pensacola. I love this area, but Louisiana has my heart. My family, on both sides, have been in Louisiana since the 1600's.

My husband, James Conway, and I, have seven children, twenty-one grandchildren, and one great grandson.

My dad, five brothers, one sister, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews,

are still in Louisiana. Also numerous cousins.

I have always loved to write. I did some as a teenager. When my second child was born however, he had medical problems. I had to work a lot of hours to take care of that. Two years ago I stopped working and started writing again. A Temptation is my first book. I am thrilled to have this opportunity after so many years.
