Anna's Archaeology Adventures came to fruition when I lived in Europe with my husband and three young children. We traveled to medieval castles, ancient caves, and historical sites. My children anticipated each new adventure with wonder and enthusiasm. Their excitement prompted me to write a travel journal, which eventually inspired the creation of Anna and her archaeologist father.
I began writing short stories and poetry in my pre-teen years until I branched out into middle-grade fiction. After writing several books in the mystery and adventure genre, I became inspired. I love weaving tales for 8-12 year old's. My hope is to spark their imagination while teaching them some fun facts. For example, Anna learns first-hand how Magdalenian people used to live; becomes immersed in Egyptian history; and dreams of the Romani culture.
Anna instinctually finetunes her archaeology skills with each new dig. Before long she's helping her dad solve age-old mysteries. Join Anna and her dad, Dr. Turner, as they criss-cross the globe in search of adventure.
