Mason J. Torall

Hailing from Elizabeth, Colorado on the outskirts of Denver, Mason garnered a passion for science and fiction independently from a very young age. Video games and an overactive imagination fueled early images for his later works--some of which manifested as an incomplete manuscript as early as middle school. After graduating from an alternative high school, Mason attended Colorado Film School with dreams of storming Hollywood. Two years in, however, he realized his passion lay not with film, but with the written word. Thus, three years after leaving film school and returning to rural Elizabeth, Mason published his debut novel "The Dark Element" with help from a successful Kickstarter campaign. Released under his own publishing house and launched using Amazon's platform for self-publishing authors, TDE hit the markets to sound success. Mason quit his day job to pursue a full-time career in writing, and he currently resides in south Denver, where he intends to stay as he continues work on the Elemental Saga.
