"Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." - Roald Dahl

That quote pretty much sums it up. I believe in the magic of a life well lived, love and literature.

Amongst my many passions, I hold writing to be the most meaningful and fulfilling. I also love to read. I read a lot. If given the choice between the very air I breathe and books, I would undoubtedly choose books. There would be no pleasure in life without literature—luckily for me, I do not have to choose between the two.

Outside of the literary realm, I enjoy cooking (mainly for the fact that I love to eat), My friends tell me that I eat like a Hobbit...and I tend to agree with them. I have an insatiable sweet tooth (I’ve found chocolate to be a temporary cure for this affliction), and drink preposterous quantities of coffee. When not writing at home, I can be found at a handful of cafes—one of which I like to call "the office."

I live in Sonoma County, California, where I roam around the vineyards, and play on the mountain tops. My adventurous tales are spun with magic, mystery, terror, and romance. I have been influenced by the likes of Roald Dahl, Philip Pullman, Kate DiCamillo, A.A. Milne, Neil Gaiman, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, amongst many others.
