Stephen Wheeler

Stephen Wheeler was born in London in 1952 and grew up in the East End where he went to the local grammar school. He was educated in Wales and Canada and has lived and worked in England, South Africa and Australia where he did various jobs including office management, teaching, driving instructor, postman, church organist and ambulance technician. He moved to Norfolk in 1984 where he lives with his partner in a village 25 miles north of Bury St Edmunds which he regards, with William Cobbett, as being "the nicest town in the world."
