Sherri Leigh James

Sherri Leigh James began her interior design career with a prominent Los Angeles interior design firm whose clients included well-known figures in the entertainment industry, billionaire families, and even mob bosses. As a principal in her own company, she went on to work for equally interesting personalities. Her work has been featured on the cover of Architectural Digest and in the books Private Washington and Hollywood at Home. Her intimate view of the private world of the rich and famous inspires her stories of interior designer, Cissy Huntington.

The stories of Sherri Leigh James are inspired by a desire to see women succeed in life. Her characters are all strong women making their way in a man's world.

Her childhood was entertained by tales of legends and journals of early California settlers, including accounts of heroic women who have immigrated to California over the last two centuries. These tales inspired the SAGA OF A LADY series.

Her debut mystery novel, GIRL WITH A PAST is set in the 1960's and 2000's on the UC Berkeley campus and in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Sherri Leigh James lives in California with her husband, near their children and grandchildren.
