Julia Draper

Julia farmed sheep in the Lake District before returning to her native North East and taking a degree in Theology. With her second husband, Alan, she opened Cogito Books, the award winning independent bookshop in Hexham, Northumberland, near where Enfilade is set. She now lives and writes in the Limousin region of France.
