Why Yet

Born and raised in North Philadelphia, Why Yet found comfort in the

words of Maya Angelou's Gather Together In My Name. From that book

sprang an interest in everything Maya Angelou, including her poem

Phenomenal Woman. Inspired at the age of thirteen, Why Yet began

writing her own poems. It wasn't until thirteen years later that she

found the courage to publish her collection of poetry, Entangled

Hearts where she discovered how much of her words touched people's

lives. After a nine year hiatus the author Yani (A Thug's Redemption

series) convinced Why Yet to come out of retirement and re-release

Entangled Hearts. Her journey continues... Why Yet? Why not?
