Fabrizio Marozzo

Fabrizio Marozzo is an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Calabria, Italy. He received his Laurea degree in Computer Engineering and his Ph.D. in Systems and Computer Engineering from the same university. He has also conducted research at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Cambridge.

His research interests include artificial intelligence, large language models, big data analytics, cloud and distributed computing, data mining, and social media analysis. He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers, books, and book chapters, and regularly serves on the program committees of international conferences and as a reviewer for leading scientific journals. He received the JavaDay Award and the AICA–Confindustria Award for the best Italian master’s thesis in the ICT field.
